Allison Karabelas –Property Law Department at David Gray Solicitors

 

 

 

Allison started her career with David Gray Solicitors in 2008 when she was offered a paralegal position within the family department; she progressed to a training contract in September 2009; her first seat being in the property department.
Before embarking on a career in law Allison was a critical care nurse for 26 years; studying in both Sunderland and London.
Allison graduated from Northumbria University in July 2008 after completing her Law (exempting) Degree.  During her studies, for this degree, Allison worked as a volunteer at Gateshead Law Centre gaining invaluable experience.
Following graduation Allison studied for a LLM in Advanced Legal Practice, at Northumbria University, completing this in June 2009.  As part of her studies Allison prepared a dissertation on prenuptial agreements. This included a comparative study on the English approach to prenuptial agreements and that of other countries, such as Australia, the USA and France.
