Clare specialises in Public Law children cases, and inquests following a death in prison, police custody or other secure establishment.
Clare has considerable experience dealing with inheritance claims. She also has experience of personal injury claims, and claims for compensation arising from the actions of police officers.
Clare is a Higher Rights Advocate.
She is a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority Children Panel and Personal Injury Panel. She is a member of Resolution.
Clare is Vice President of Newcastle Law Society
Clare read Law and Politics at Durham University and qualified as a solicitor in 1978.
