Ian Lowther –Immigration Department & Criminal Law Department
Ian completed his training at David Gray’s before
qualifying as a solicitor in April 2010 specialising in both
immigration and criminal law.
Ian is accredited by the Law Society as a senior immigration and
asylum caseworker and is also qualified to represent clients on
behalf of the Duty Solicitor Scheme both at the police station and
Magistrates Court.
Ian originally studied politics and psychology at Newcastle
University and then later went on to complete his graduate Diploma
in Law and Legal Practice Course at the University of Northumbria.
Before joining the firm Ian gained practical experience advising in
various areas of social welfare in the not for profit sector as a
legal advice caseworker.
