Joanne Charlton –Family Law Department

Joanne CharltonJoanne is a solicitor working in the family department. Joanne has experience of representing clients in relation to children matters, in particular contact arrangements between the non-resident parent and the children and resolving issues of where a child should live in addition to her wealth of experience in divorce matter and their financial implications.

Joanne is also a member of the domestic abuse team.

Joanne studied law at the University of Leeds before completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York. Joanne was awarded the Legal Service Commission Public Legal Services Route Prize 2005/2006 for being the best performing student in the elective examinations at York College of Law.

Joanne began working at David Gray Solicitors LLP in October 2006 as a Family Law Paralegal and started her training contract in September 2007. She qualified as a solicitor in September 2009.
