Laura Croft – Family Law Department

Laura is a solicitor working in the Family and Crime Departments.

Within the Family Department, Laura has a wide range of experience in representing clients in relation to children matters, separation and divorce, financial issues arising from relationship breakdown and domestic abuse. Laura has a particular interest in domestic abuse cases, with experience of representing clients in relation to injunctions (known as non molestation orders and occupation orders). Laura is a member of the family law group Resolution.

Laura is qualified Police Station Representative and represents clients under arrest or attending the police station voluntarily. Laura also advises and represents clients at the Magistrates Court in relation to a range of criminal matters.
Laura graduated from Durham University in 2006 with a degree in law and studied the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York, completing the Public Legal Services route and passing with commendation in 2007. Laura qualified as a solicitor in October 2010, after gaining experience during her training contract of family law, immigration, crime and civil law.
