Paula Harris –Housing Law Department at David Gray Solicitors

Paula started her career with David Gray Solicitors in July 2007 when she was offered a paralegal position within the family and civil departments; she progressed to a training contract in September 2008.

Paula is currently working within the housing department after completing seats in the civil and property departments. It is intended that Paula will complete another seat in the civil department before she qualifies in September 2010 expanding her existing wide range of experience dealing with civil litigation.

Paula regularly represents the firm at local university events, giving advice regarding the work of a legal aid firm and life as a trainee solicitor.

Paula is currently assisting with the complex and highly publicised North East Property Buyers Group litigation which involved potential fraud allegations in relation to sale and rent back agreements.

Paula also specialises in advising clients facing possession proceedings and warrants of eviction.

Paula studied Law at Newcastle University, before completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law York in 2007, where she obtained a Distinction.
