Paula Harris –Civil Law Department at David Gray Solicitors

Paula started her career with David Gray Solicitors in July 2007 when she was offered a paralegal position within the family and civil departments; she progressed to a training contract in September 2008.
Paula is currently completing her final seat in the civil department after completing previous seats in the civil, property and housing departments.  Paula qualifies in September 2010 and will remain in the civil department, expanding her existing wide range of experience dealing with civil litigation.
Paula regularly represents the firm at local university events, giving advice regarding the work of a legal aid firm and life as a trainee solicitor.
Paula is dealing with all aspects of civil litigation, including personal injury, contract disputes and debt recovery. She also specialises in advising on Criminal Injuries Compensation (CICA), Police Complaints and Actions Against the Police.
Paula studied Law at Newcastle University, before completing the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law York in 2007, where she obtained a Distinction.
