Peter Szoltysek

Peter deals with all aspects of the Housing Department’s work, including possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour injunctions, demotions, disrepair, housing allocation and homelessness, and illegal eviction.

He is a member of the Duty Possession Schemes at Newcastle, Gateshead and Sunderland County Courts.

As with all other members of the Housing Department, Peter represents tenants and home owners only and does not act for landlords.

He is a Deputy Supervisor in Housing Law under the Legal Services Commission’s Specialist Quality Mark.

Peter is a graduate of the University of Warwick and studied law at Northumbria University.  He qualified as a Solicitor in 2005, having previously pursued careers in the civil service and university administration.
