Salaha graduated from Northumbria University in 2008 and in 2009 joined David Gray Solicitors as a Legal Assistant in their immigration department. Salaha volunteered at the Gateshead law centre family department for 6 months, Salaha then participated in the mentoring programme at the Crown Prosecution Service for 6 months and is now working in the immigration department, advising on deportation, bail, rights of access to children amongst various other immigration matters. Salaha is now a Level 1 Immigration Caseworker. Salaha is multilingual and can speak Bengali as well as other languages.
