I am a solicitor in the immigration department specialising in all areas of immigration law.
I am accredited by the Law Society as a Senior Immigration Caseworker (Level 2).
Since qualification as a solicitor I have spent time specialising in both family and immigration law but now practice solely in immigration law where my areas of expertise include family settlement and visitor applications, European Economic Area (EEA) law, business immigration, nationality, and human rights.
I understand that when it comes to dealing with your immigration matter it can be a daunting and stressful time. I aim to guide people through the process ensuring that I am always realistic about outcomes and explain the different options in a straightforward non-legal way.
I will carefully listen to you so I will have an immediate grasp of your goals and what is most important to you. I know how important your case is to you and am passionate about ensuring that you achieve the best possible outcome. I am organised and efficient in dealing with my work and will make sure you feel well informed about the progress of your case from the beginning, through each stage and to the actions that need to be taken to achieve your goals.
I can assist clients at any stage of their case from preparing an application for leave to remain or entry clearance to representing clients in complex appeals before the immigration tribunals and higher courts, or in judicial review applications.
I graduated from the University of Northumbria where I achieved first class honours in my Bachelor of Law (LLB) (Exempting) Degree and won the prize for ‘Best overall performance’ by a graduating student.
I completed my training with David Gray Solicitors LLP and qualified in 2009.
