Your work will mainly consist of assisting the solicitors in the team by drafting documents, evaluating and assessing case information, dealing with the Legal Aid Agency and helping with case funding, dealing/speaking with clients and liaising with various third parties and professionals.
We expect a pro-active approach, excellent client care skills, efficient working and attention to detail. The role will require you to work as an individual and as part of a team.
Experience is desirable but not essential, training will be provided.

Please note that the majority of our Court of Protection team are currently working from home, however there will be a requirement for you to attend our Newcastle office initially for induction and training purposes to ensure you settle in and get to know our procedures. Our office is COVID-Secure – you can view our risk assessments here. However, it is also expected you will be able to work from home in a safe, secure way when necessary. This is a full time, permanent role which will be based at our Newcastle office when government guidelines allow reopening.
