I am a paralegal within the family department at David Gray Solicitors.
Prior to joining the practice, I worked at Gateshead Metropolitan Borough Council as a paralegal having recently relocated from East Sussex in March of 2018 where I worked as a Legal Officer in Child Law in both private and public law.
I graduated from Sussex University in 2014. As well as working full-time I am studying for a Graduate Diploma in CiLex via distance learning. I am due to complete my studies and qualify as a Legal Executive in July 2019.
Throughout my working career and studies in Sussex, I volunteered as an Independent Visitor where I mentored children, who are in the looked after system. Offering support and guidance on any matters that may have troubled them.
I also volunteered with RISE, a local government run organisation providing support for women, children, young people and families affected by domestic violence in Brighton and Hove.
I am experienced in the running and application of Public Law and Private Law matters in respect of children as well as domestic abuse and divorce cases. I appreciate the importance of a client’s need to receive thorough, structured advice throughout the course of involvement whilst being mindful of the struggles they may be experiencing. I am dedicated to achieving the best outcomes for families within Family Law.
