I am a Paralegal working in the Family department.
I understand that family matters are personal and difficult to discuss. I take the time to listen to an individual’s matter and aim to create an empathetic and friendly environment whereby my client feels comfortable talking about personal issues. By providing clear advice without the use of legal jargon, I work to the best of my ability to make my clients feel confident in the process and fully informed at every stage.
Before joining the firm, I gained experience as a Mental Health Paralegal and volunteered with the British Red Cross and Citizen Advice Witness Service, aiding vulnerable individuals though various stages of the legal system. Having supported a variety of clients, I can understand how to best support the individual resolve their legal issues.
I studied law at Nottingham Trent University and graduated in July 2016 with First Class Honours. I later passed the Legal Practice Course with Distinction.
