As a family paralegal, I assist supervising solicitors in public and private children’s proceedings. I attend PLO meetings, communicate with clients and often attend court hearings. I can speak to clients and take instructions on issues that arise in their case and also draft documents.
When parents are going through the courts in care proceedings, I understand how difficult and emotional this time can be. Therefore, I approach our clients with empathy and understanding.
As a member of the domestic abuse team, I am aware that this is some of the most challenging times a client can face. I am supportive throughout this process and offer compassionate advice so that the client is comfortable to share their experiences with me. Whether they need urgent legal protection or long-term guidance, I am committed in providing the best course of action.
I attended the University of Leeds graduating with a 2.1 in Law. During my studies I am particularly proud of achieving a first class mark in my family law exam in second year of university.
