As a paralegal, I support the solicitors in the family department, working across all areas of family law. I am passionate about providing high quality service to families when they need it most. I pride myself on being approachable and empathetic whilst striving for the best possible outcome.
I achieved a first class mark for my dissertation, in which I explored the efficacy of the Family Drug and Alcohol Courts through a socio-legal lens. Alongside my role at David Gray, I am involved with the North East Pro Bono Committee as the Communications Secretary.
I attended Northumbria University graduating with an MLaw degree, comprising of an LLB, an integrated Masters and the LPC. During my third year, I was part of a family firm within the university’s award-winning Student Law Office, a pro bono legal clinic. This experience was instrumental in deepening my understanding of the complexities of family law cases and facilitating the hands-on application of what I had learned. This experience inspired me to pursue a career in family law, providing support and advice to clients experiencing challenging periods in their lives.
