Domestic Abuse Act 2021 Committee
Our Managing Partner Elspeth Thomson was invited to The House of Lords last week to discuss the Domestic Abuse Act and how it is working in practice.
The Act, introduced in 2021, aimed to better protect victims, bring perpetrators to justice and updated definitions of domestic abuse.
Along with other family law experts, Elspeth as part of her Resolution National Committee role took part in an evidence session last week.
