Freya is a paralegal in the Crime department. Her role is to support both clients and colleagues with accuracy and efficiency. She understands that when clients are going through the legal system it can be extremely stressful and difficult as well as the people around them. Therefore, she approaches every situation with empathy and compassion.
Freya graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with 2:1 in History and Politics. She then went on to study her LLM at Newcastle University.
In March 2026, Freya undertook a mini pupillage with New Park Court Chambers. During this experience, she was introduced more directly to the importance of legal aid and the role it plays in ensuring that clients receive fair representation. She gained first-hand exposure to client conferences, evidence evaluation and the pressures of managing time-sensitive criminal cases. It confirmed her motivation to build a career in criminal law and to support clients who rely on clear communication, patience and professionalism.
