Rebecca is a Partner and Head of Children Law as well as a family law solicitor. She has over 17 years of post-qualification experience specialising in care, adoption, special guardianship and private law proceedings. She has been a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel since 2013, which means that she can represent children within court proceedings. She regularly acts for parents, grandparents or any other person that has an interest in Child Protection matters. She has a wealth of experience of cases involving child protections issues as a result of drug and alcohol abuse, non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse, domestic abuse and mental health. She regularly appears at court to provide advocacy for her clients.
Rebecca is also experienced with working with people who have learning difficulties and works hard to make advice understandable and straightforward. She regularly works with teenage parents and understands this is a daunting process and is here to guide you through it. She is sensitive to cultural issues and has handled cases with international elements.
