The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our Private Client team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced solicitors, managing your own caseload and supporting the team in delivering high-quality legal services. At David Gray Solicitors, caring for our clients is at the heart of everything we do. You will play a key role in ensuring that every client feels supported, understood, and valued throughout their legal journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising and assisting clients with the highest standard of care and empathy.
- Managing your own caseload and supporting solicitors with theirs.
- Evaluating and assessing information, evidence, and legal issues.
- Drafting legal documents.
- Meeting billing and performance targets and accurately recording time.
- Contributing to business development through networking and marketing activities.
- Ensuring compliance with SRA regulations and firm policies.
About You:
- Previous experience in Private Client work (e.g., Wills, Probate, LPAs) is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and client care skills, with a genuine commitment to supporting clients during sensitive times.
- Proactive approach to client care and learning and development.
- IT literate and comfortable with new systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
