I am effective at communicating and building up a relationship with my clients in a way that creates trust and ensures they feel fully supported.

I think it is important to be realistic and honest so everyone involved has a good understanding of what is happening at each stage of their case and we can work together towards an achievable end goal that they can be happy with.

I completed both my undergraduate law degree and masters incorporating the Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University. Before completing my masters I gained experience as a legal secretary in a family law firm. Upon completion of my masters, I obtained a role as a family law paralegal for 6 months before then being offered a training contract. Within my training contract the vast majority of the work I completed (18 of 24 months) was within the family department and from the beginning of my training contract I was handling my own large caseload and representing clients at Court hearings.
