Skip to contentI am currently on leave until the end of 2023. I act for clients in an array of conveyancing transactions, from first time buyers to experienced landlords. I truly understand the significance of buying and selling a property and the stresses that can sometimes be involved. I also appreciate the importance of being reliable and efficient throughout the conveyancing process, in order that the transaction is completed as smoothly as possible.
I also undertake work in Wills and Probate matters, Powers of Attorney and Estate & Inheritance Tax planning. I understand that dealing with these matters can often be a difficult and daunting task. I bring care, attention and sympathy to every situation, to ensure that my clients have confidence that their all of their needs are fully understood and met. I also hold the Dementia Friends accreditation so I can assist those suffering with dementia.
I always offer a tailored and attentive service and pride myself on building good rapports with all of my clients. I have an approachable and friendly nature and believe that this is fundamental to achieving the best outcome. A recent client said:
Nicola has been my case handler over a long drawn out process in switching my mortgage in to my sole name and removing an ex partner.
Nicola was excellent throughout the whole process constantly keeping me updated and chasing throughout. She was helpful with any questions and didn’t shy away from picking up the phone to give me a call which I’ve always had problems with previous solicitors in the past. She seemed to genuinely care about the process as she sent numerous emails to ease my worries the whole time i was dealing with her that weren’t just straight to the point generic process emails and it was a nice personal touch.
I will 100% be using David Gray again in future whenever I require a solicitor and its due to my experience with Nicola.
I am an elected Standing Committee member of Newcastle Law Society. I am also a member of the Junior Lawyers Division, the Women’s Lawyers Division and Solicitors for the Elderly.
I qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 with an International Law degree from the University of Leicester. I spent a year of my degree studying in Adelaide, South Australia. I worked as a Housing Solicitor when I qualified before joining David Gray in 2018 when I commenced work in the Property Department.
