Gael Phillips

Trainee Solicitor

david gray solicitors Gael Phillips

I am a trainee solicitor working in the civil and housing team.

I advise tenants in relation to applications for possession and warrants of eviction. I can also advise on civil matters, including breach of contract and personal injury. I also assist on matters that are before the Court of Protection.

I understand the people I advise often need to tell me highly sensitive and upsetting information and I will always try to take an understanding and supportive approach.

I am organised, pay attention to detail and work hard to keep my clients informed. I try to meet the individual needs of each of my clients and provide them with all options available to them, helping them reach a decision that best meets their needs and those of their loved ones.

Prior to joining the civil and housing team, I worked in our award winning family department. I advised clients on a wide range of issues including children’s services involvement, disagreements between parents as to who a child should live/spend time with, divorce and domestic abuse.

I graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2012 achieving First Class Honours. I then went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP Leeds and achieved a Distinction.
