Student visa requirements

Student visas have replaced the previous Tier 4 category. However, the requirements remain broadly similar.

Applicants need to score the necessary points for having an offer of a place on a course of studies at a recognised UK education institution and funds to pay course fees and maintain themselves.

Our immigration solicitors

Our personal immigration solicitors have extensive experience in advising on both initial student applications and extensions of stay as well as on issues concerning conditions attached to a student’s visa such as the right to work and breaks in the study.

We can also advise on post-study visa options to remain in the UK for work, to set up in business or upon the basis of a relationship, we can also advise on Administrative Review if an application is refused.

Our Fees

In accordance with rules published by the SRA, as of December 2018 all firms offering this type of work must publish details of prices and personnel undertaking the work.  Please see our dedicated fees page for more information.
