To study in the UK most applicants will require a Tier 4 visa under the Points Based System, whether they are an adult or a child. There are also some short-term visas available, for example to study English Language.
Tier 4 visa requirements
It is important to identify the correct route that suits an applicants’ needs. For Tier 4 the applicant needs to score the necessary points for having an offer of a place on a course of studies at a recognised UK education institution and funds to pay course fees and maintain themselves.
