DG Flying High: Celebrating Our Trainees and new Associates
For over 45 years, our firm has proudly championed emerging legal talent, fostering a strong culture of training and development. We’re committed to growing from within, and we’re proud to say that all of our current Trainee Solicitors were recruited internally—each one now well on their way to qualification.
Our trainees have recently moved seats as part of their journey to becoming solicitors, gaining valuable experience across departments before choosing their specialism. We’re delighted to see them settling in to their new seats so well and are incredibly proud of their progress.
- Caitlin White – Family Department
- Emma Johnson – Private Client
- Jasmine Rehill – Crime Department
- Katelin Steel – Court of Protection Department
- Kathy Reid – Property Department
- Laura Williams – Family Department
- Rebecca Harkess – Mental Health Department
We also want to celebrate the achievements of Helen Cruickshanks (Court of Protection) and Josh Hart (Criminal Defence), who have both been promoted to Associate Solicitor. Josh’s journey from Paralegal to Trainee to Solicitor and now Associate is a fantastic example of the career progression possible here at DG. Helen joined David Gray Solicitors 3 years ago and is now part of our Training and Support working group to help implement training and support programmes for paralegals and trainee solicitors and recruit and nurture future talent.
