James Rickerby

I am a trainee solicitor currently working in the mental health department at David Gray, I also have experience of immigration law having spent time in that department during my training.

Challenging a section under the Mental Health Act can be complex and intimidating. I will help guide you through the process and provide clear and understandable advice. I also understand that your experience will be unique to you, and I will tailor the service I provide to your individual needs. At the same time, I will try to be a reassuring presence who is always on your side.

Previously I have worked within the crime department at David Gray and have gained my police station accreditation.

I graduated with a degree in Law from Newcastle University and then went on to complete the LPC at Northumbria. Before joining David Gray, I worked at the Legal Aid Agency, giving me a valuable insight into the process of obtaining public funding which I can use to help clients.
