Ways to pay
We aim to make funding your legal advice and representation clear, straightforward and affordable for you.
We will always explain your options for funding and ways to pay, and give you a clear written estimate of our likely charges and expenses. We may be able to offer a fixed fee so that you know exactly what you will pay. We provide a number of payment options including finance. Legal Aid is available for some of our services if you are financially eligible.
For people who are financially eligible Legal aid is available for some of our services including family mediation, social services involvement with children, and cases where there has been or is ongoing domestic abuse. In order to be financially eligible you must meet certain criteria about your capital and monthly income. We will always tell you if Legal Aid is available to fund your case.
We offer a fixed fee fully inclusive divorce packages. The Court fee is currently £550. This is a cost effective way to progress your divorce or civil partnership dissolution and is suitable for people who
- have been married or in a civil partnership for at least a year
- have up to date and correct address details for their spouse or civil partner
- are in agreement with their spouse or civil partner to get divorced
- live in England or Wales
and there have been no previous or ongoing divorce or civil partnership dissolution proceedings.
We may also be able to quote a fixed fee for other types of case including initial advice and representation in Court proceedings.
We work with litigation funding organisations who provide finance to enable you to fund a court case or dispute resolution process like Collaborative Family Law. We will work through the application process with you and explain the terms on which a loan may be offered.
