I am a solicitor dividing my time between the Civil Department and the Family Department at David Gray Solicitors.
Within the Family team I specialise in Child Protection cases, Care Proceedings and cases involving issues of domestic violence. I also advise on Gender Recognition. I know that these are very sensitive areas of work and I try my hardest to ensure that my clients feel listened to and supported throughout their cases.
Within the Civil team I undertake all areas of Housing Law, Inheritance Disputes and Civil claims or disputes. I also advise tenants who are faced with possible eviction due to rent arrears or alleged antisocial behaviour. I know that people can feel anxious about seeing a solicitor and that it can be difficult to discuss with a stranger things that are personal to you. I try to put my clients at ease and ensure that the advice I provide is clear and understandable.
Before joining David Gray Solicitors in 2011, I previously gained valuable experience with a firm of solicitors in the North West and in the legal services department of one of the local authorities. I graduated with a degree in Law from Durham University in 2010 before going on complete the Legal Practice Course at Northumbria University.
