I am a Paralegal working in the Family department.
I understand that a lot of the family issues are very sensitive and personal, and so I will always adopt an empathetic approach when communicating with my clients as I understand how difficult talking about personal issues can be.
I will always take time to ensure that my work is meticulous and work to the best of my abilities to help my clients fully understand the processes and legal terminologies.
Before joining the firm, I’d volunteered for Cumbria Law Centre; Advocacy North as a volunteer advocate; and National Centre for Domestic Violence as a volunteer caseworker. I’d also had experience working in a children’s home, so I have a good grasp of the care process.
I’m currently studying towards my GDL at Northumbria Law School, with the hope of continuing towards my LPC and eventually as a qualified solicitor. I graduated from UCL with a 2:1 in BA Philosophy.
I am also fluent in Cantonese, and proficient in Hakka and Mandarin.
